Professionally printed card left blank for your own message. It has an envelope and is contained within a cellophane sleeve. The card is posted within a hard-backed envelope to protect it in transit. I have used staining pigments which are transparent but are very vivid and lightfast. I thought these pigments would work best for the iridescent feathers in this beautiful and proud bird! A card is always nice to receive in this age of digitalisation and it can be sent just to say 'hello' or for any message.

'The Dandy' is from an original artwork of the very first cock pheasant that visited the garden and became tame as we fed him with choice bird food. Now when we see any pheasants in the garden there is a possibility they are descendants of 'Bob', our very first pheasant from which this portrait is made.
