The box has been hand turned on a lathe and is made of Beech with an inlay of Sapele in the lid and around the join of the lid. It is 3 inches high and 2.25 inches at its widest.

This highly polished box can be used to store rings small items of jewellery or just keepsakes. The contrast of the different kinds of wood is highly effective and most attractive.

I very much like to make boxes as they are a useful gift for any woman to put her rings or small pieces of jewellery in. I like to experiment with different kinds of wood for these items and if possible to inlay different woods for effect. The end result here is one I am proud of and I hope the buyer is as well.
