I wanted to add a Hot Air Balloon illustration to the collection, but I wanted it to be playful and to look big a squishy, Although I liked the drawing I had done in the 'collection colours' it didn't look how I wanted it too - so I changed the design to have a baby plumpness about it, whilst still looking floaty, and played with the art works colours. Hence why there is a choice of hot air balloon. The drawing is reminiscent of the "hot air balloons" I made as a child, with a party balloon and a yogurt pot. I envisage this on a wall in a bedroom, creating a calm, light and airy feeling to the space; the sun is shining and a gentle breeze is blowing in through the window as I watch my balloon float in it's frame.
