This Sycamore bowl has been hand turned in our workshop, then decorated with Jo Sonja's iridescent paints. This decorative piece is an art form in wood and deserves pride of place in any room. The use of colour on the top of the bowl enhances rather than detracts from the beauty of the wood, while the base of the bowl remains in its natural colour providing the perfect backdrop for this piece.

The inspiration for the colours on this piece came from memories of the Aurora Borealis seen over the Cairngorms in Winter. Those amazing colours have been reproduced in the surface of this bowl.
