Solid Oak floating shelves in the design of the Oak Furniture Land Kemble range made to order and size. The shelves can be supplied unfinished, with a mineral oil finish as pictured or with a 'clear' wax , the choice is yours. Shelves are made to order. The turnaround time is entirely dependant on the avaialbility of wood and the type of finish you would like. Typically around 3 weeks though you would be kept appraised as your order is progressed. Though these are made of solid Oak I am happy to advise on other woods if you have a particular preference. This would of course effect the end price, so contact me for details. The shelves will be pre-drilled for floating shelf bars ( not supplied ), readily available at most DIY stores. The shelves pictured measure approximately 84cm x 20cm x 4cm. Price is £25 per 500cm2. ie. Required shelf size 60cm length x 20 cm depth is 1200cm2. 1200cm2 divided by 500cm2 is 2.4. cost is 2.4 x 25 - total cost is £60. Having in recent years purchased a lot of Oak furniture I was disapointed to discover that Oak Furniture Land do not supply shelves to match their furniture ranges. So I decided to make my own. Not an exact replica as their joinery is different, but does replicate well the overall style which is what we were looking for. So if you have a particular style in mind drop me a line!
