I think these original and one off cards would suit a number of occasions such as Birthdays, Get Well or Thank you.This is a handmade card using painted, printed and recycled paper. My background is Fashion and Textiles and I have been printing onto fabric but my stash is very low so I have used my fabric dyes to paint paper. I had a few experimental prints lying around so I utilised these fo a bit of pattern and texture.

These designs use up all of my offcuts on different weights of paper and I make them as if I were almost weaving a piece of cloth.
Folded measures 21 cm length by 10.5 cm width
The card is 100% recycled, eco friendly and acid free, made from 300 gsm card and the envelopes are made from 120 gsm card paper
I just use pritt stick for my sticking and double sided sticky tape to place the collage onto the card.

This card is inspired by the colours in my garden. I have used painted papers and off cuts of prints to create these woven compositions. I have played with deckle edges, torn and straight lines to reveal and create new linear forms. In the construction of the card I have considered the relationships of the colours and textures to each other as I overlap every strip. Each one is an original one off.
