Washable cotton face mask, made with 3 layers (cotton and polycotton) and elastic earloops. Handmade with care in Edinburgh.
Each masks comes with a flexible nose bridge to ensure a close fit on your nose.

They are made following the French organisation AFNOR guidelines (which is available in English version).
But please, note that these masks were not tested and are not medical grade masks. They are only intended for general use (grocery shopping, etc.)
When wearing your mask, make sure to cover your nose, mouth, and chin and do not touch it once in place.
Do not wear your mask longer than 4 hours.

SIZE
One size that should fits most adult faces (junior size available)
If the elastic is not quite tight enough for you, you can make a small knot to adjust it.

MATERIALS
100% coton thistle print fabric (1 layer),
Polycotton : 50% Polyester 50% Cotton Sheeting (2 layers)
Elastic band

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
It is advised by AFNOR that face masks should be washed after each use at 60°C, and dried shortly after (preferably air dried with a hairdryer or gentle tumble dried).
The masks can, in addition be ironed at high temperature (but keep the elastic earloops away from the heat).

I am both an Edinburg based freelance worker in the tourism industry and an independent maker.
With the current pandemic, I have seen all my plans and projects in tourism collapse. So I decided that I would make it through focusing on my handmade creations, and try to be be more creative than ever.
After making as many as I could for people around me, I decided to start selling them, to help people get high quality washable face mask, while supporting my own small business.
Each mask is handmade with care in my home-based studio in Edinburgh.
