Item details
The quote is from Victor Hugo, and in these times it struck a chord. The piece is worked on a base of white, Bowmont fleece, then overlaid with blended fibres and fleece. ( The sheep's name is Rupert). I then stitched in the details using a mixture of perle and silk threads, and added beads for texture and sparkle. This is a happy piece. The quote is typed onto hand made paper, using my Mum's old typewriter. It is hung on an old spindle by two chords.
