This listing is for a tea cup pin cushion with a playful puppy holding an ornamental ball of string. He has cute eyes which are staring up at a little ladybird which is sat on his ear. The saucer is a resting place for cottons and a tape measure.

Tape measure, cottons, a needle and some dressed pins are included.

Handy as an attractive and funky way to keep an emergency sewing kit to hand or a lovely addition to a sewing or craft room for the crafter or serious (or not so serious) needle worker/seamstress/tailor.

Measurements:
Height: 12.5cm
Width at widest point : 14cm diameter.

Please note: the pins will be pushed in for packing and posting purposes .... They will just need pulling out upon unpacking.

I have always loved tea cups and i had seen a few teacup pincushions around but I wanted to create something a little different. I take a little ceramic ornament of a cat or dog and I kind of okay around with it until it looks right then I begin assembling the mini sewing based diorama adding flowers and other accessories before flying it all in place. Then I add a tape measure and cottons and finally some dressed pins and a needle.

Then you have something that is fun and functional that has elements of upcycling and recycling.

I have sold a few at my local Emporium where I have a craft and vintage stall.

I started making these teacup Pin cushions in March 2018.
