Wooden darning needle case
Description
Hand turned from recycled teak these pots will store your needles up to 75 mm long. They are about 35 mm in diameter and 130 mm tall. They have a felt base.
Inspiration
Mrs Shipshape asked me to make these darning needle pots. She lent me one which was a family heirloom to use as a guide and of course I dropped it in the sawdust and it was never seen again!! Darning needles can be whoppers and they can be too long to fit many needle pots. These are made from the same piece of repurposed Teak so the grain in the base will approximately match that of the lid.
