The Golden Chicken was designed and cut by hand, and is part of a limited edition run. Only 10 of this design will be created, this is piece number 2/10, each piece is signed and numbered.

The design was created to be auctioned by Fresh Start For Hen's to help them to continue to rescue egg laying hens from slaughter, having rehomed some of their hens ourselves it is a charity close to our hearts. To continue my support 25% of the sales from this design will continue to be donated to the charity.

The chicken has been hand designed and cut by myself, from a gold shimmer paper which catches the light beautifully. It is then mounted over a heavyweight colourfast deep blue paper.

The picture comes framed in a wood effect frame measuring approximately 22.5cm x 18cm, in a frame which can be freestanding or hung.

The designs are replicated but as each piece is transferred and cut by hand so there will be small differences between every piece, making each one an original piece of work. This is 2/10

Last Christmas order date - 15th December

Our beautiful rescue chickens. We've had chickens for over 5 years now, they have such wonderful characters. This piece was designed to raise funds for Fresh Start For Hens, to help rescue more chickens from slaughter when they are no longer commercially viable as egg layers at just 72 weeks old. Fresh Start For Hens rescue them and find them new domestic homes where they can live out their many years of retirement. We currently have 4 hens from Fresh Start For Hens, Poppadom, Tikka, Scrambled, and Bob.
