This one of a kind bee papercut is the perfect way to celebrate the bee and all he does for our eco system, while adding an interesting artwork to your home.
The bee was designed and cut completely by hand from a single sheet of 'tree free' paper. Tree free paper is paper made from sustainable resources, in this case I used bamboo paper.
The cut paper bee is then framed in a hexagonal - honeycomb shaped - double glass frame with antique bronze coloured edges and hangs from a metal loop and peach coloured ribbon.
The frame measures just 8.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm tall, or 17cm hanging height when the cotton hanging ribbon is included.
A great feature of double glass frames is they work with any decor and will fit in, in any room as they show the colour of the wall behind them.
This delicate art would make the perfect addition to the wall of any nature lover.
I was inspired during world bee day, bees are amazing little creatures keeping our world going!
Did you know a third of world food production depends on bees!
And yet currently one million bee species face extinction.
An easy way to help our bees - grow wildflowers, such as daisys!
All of my bee designs purchased to a UK address will come with a little pack of daisy seeds (a bees favourite!) so you can help #savethebees (sorry I am unable to send seeds outside of the UK)
