A beautiful cushion cover in hot summer colours to brighten any day. With a mix of vintage and contemporary fabrics creating a truly one-off item of home decor. The front of the cushion has a calico base over which I have stitched a hot pink synthetic fabric, a sheer pink synthetic fabric and pieces of white cotton cutwork The back is made from a bright multi striped cotton and this fabric edges over onto the front as well. This is an envelope back cushion with no fastenings for ease of use. This will be posted without the cushion inner.

As some of the fabrics are vintage or of unknown origin I cannot state the fibre content and therefore have to advise that some of these fabrics may be more flammable than others and care must be taken, do not put near heat or naked flame.

This product will need a cushion inner, 17" x 17"/46cm x 46cm

I constantly collect vintage fabrics and especially vintage embroidery and wanted to highlight all the beautiful work that these show by making them part of an every day object. A mix of vintage and contemporary works nicely and allows me to create a colourful and tactile object.
