Steampunk inspired necklace featuring a chunky gear/cog design pendant on a 20" 50cm leather cord.

The pendant is a tibetan style metal alloy cog charm measuring 1.5" (3.5cm) diameter.

The cord is 3mm genuine leather and has silver plated fastenings.

I have attached the necklace to a blank greetings card that continues the Steampunk, Industrial Theme

The card is black and is topped with a pearlised grey card, followed by a black checker plate card. This is then decorated with a multitude of cardboard die cut cogs and finished with the necklace.

The necklace is tucked away behind the grey card layer

The card measures 5" x 7" (12.5 x 17.5cm)

The inside of the card has a white paper insert which is blank for your own message

Supplied with a white envelope

Ideal for Father's Day or Birthday, it is a blank card so suitable for any occasion.

My cards are presented in a clear polythene bag to protect them, I will post them in an envelope with cardboard to avoid damage in the post. I also include a plain piece of white card that you can use to cover the charm to protect it if you are planning on posting it. If you are cutting down on plastic please let me know if you would prefer the card not to be sent in the polythene bag.

I loved the cog / gear charm and thought it would be good to make this into a pendant. It's got a chunky masculine feel to it. To present it in a special way I decided to combine the necklace with a greetings card. Because I love the industrial look of cogs and gears my card reflects this theme, and to really give that industrial feel I added a checkerplate texture to the card.
