I’m taking part in the Artist Support Pledge.
For every £1000 of art work I sell, I pledge to spend £200 purchasing another artists work. Artists supporting artists through a crisis.
“Addiction”, grew from a dark place. This is my battle with a foe.
This is the friend I once had, who turned against me and everyone I love. This is the friend who was consumed by her addictions, by her enduring loneliness, drugs, mental illness and her lack of loyalty, that she lost everything.
This is the image of rock bottom.
I would say “Addiction” has been my most painful piece to date. A lot of soul searching began with this creation, but stopped once the paintbrushes dropped.
Don’t spend your entire life feeling guilty for the mistakes of others.
