Picking petals in the colours I love has always been a pass time in the spring and summer and although I don't make petal perfumes anymore! , I embed them into my handmade paper instead.
This gives natural dyes to the paper as well as the inspiration for what I will draw over the top.
I enjoy playing with texture, colour and form which in addition to the unique nature of the paper, create an intriguing piece with many depths of interest.
