This little art doll is one of my 'Little Women' range of dolls and whilst she is very beautiful she is also practical as she can be used as a pincushion. Her front is a bright print in hot pink and gold, whilst the back is a grey printed cotton with a pink/red rose pattern. Over her forehead I have stitched a butterfly motif in bright pink and added a bead detail to this. She is filled with polyester wadding and her approximate measurements are 12cm high and 7cm across her body making her small enough to hold in your hand or sit on your sewing table and agree with everything you say.
All my Little Women are individually made

This is not a toy and it is not suitable for children,due to the small parts which could be a choking hazard

I have always loved dolls and making small artworks so in making these little pincushion dolls I can combine the two. I love to hand draw the faces onto cotton or calico then once I see their expression I can decide on the fabric. I am keen to give them all individual personalities. They are intended to be pincushions and I have one I have used for several years but some people just like to keep them as a little friend who hears much but says nothing
