Item details

A single colour linocut of The Bear Hotel in Crickhowell, South Wales. The image size is 6" x 4" and the print is presented in a mount with backing board in a plastic sleeve. The outer mount size is 10" x 8" and the inner window is 7" x 5". The inks used are water based and the paper is acid free. Each print is signed and dated in pencil.

The linocut is one of a series of prints that I have done depicting the built environment in South Wales. This one is a view of The Bear, an old pub right in the centre of Crickhowell. Crickhowell is a prosperous small town in the Brecon Beacons and now associated with the Green Man festival. This building attracted me in particular because it is black and white and very higgledy piggledy, so lending itself ideally to a black and white print.

I want the art I produce to be affordable so that anybody have a piece of original art on their walls.
