Item details

This is a pack of 3 blank cards and envelopes.
They are individually handprinted from a linocut in an apple green or an 'NHS' blue, oil-based ink on matt cartridge paper.

The print is glued to a good quality white card stock (A5) leaving a small white border and has an appropriately sized envelope with a gummed edge.
The card is blank inside and on the back I've written in small writing, the shop name.
The image size is 14cm x 9.5cm.

The image looks sort of vintage because of the uniform and hairstyle of the nurse I think.

My childhood friend had very advanced cancer. I made this card for him as he was a very British 'Keep calm and carry on' type of person.
He did die unfortunately, but he died with grace and dignity, and with a beautiful smile on his face.
