I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). Full description
These drop earrings feature triangular pieces of fordite bezel set in sterling silver finished with sterling silver safety hooks to keep them secure in your ears. The fordite has diagonal stripes in predominately red, white and navy blue. They measure 45mm (from top of hook) by 16mm across, fordite is lightweight so comfortable to wear all day.
Not come across fordite before? It is layers of cured paint that builds up in spray booths at vehicle factories where the paint misses the car panel it is meant for, as painting technology improves and becomes more accurate less fordite is formed. This over spray builds up getting baked in between each layer giving a hard material which can be cut and polished to show the colours. This material is from the Kenworth truck plant in Chillicothe, Ohio (I bought it from a guy who works there) and you can see the rough in one of the photos (not included). Love the idea of fordite but want something else - drop me a message, I have more of the rough and since I cut and polish it myself I should be able to make what you want.
Measures 45mm (from top of hook) by 16mm across and comes in a gift box.
