The Subject:
A slingshot is many things - a child's toy - a deadly weapon - latent power !!
Translate it as you will - it remains a stunning contemporary image.
The Story:
Slingshot Editions is the creation of artist Christopher Jarratt - Having gained critical acclaim producing 3D versions carved from fallen timber gathered from the ancient woodlands of Epping Forest. Exhibited in Paris, New York & London and owned by the likes of Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, Sir Terrance Conran, Micheal Bloomberg and Lauren Laverne. The success achieved in this medium led Christopher to seek a way to transfer these iconic images into a limited edition in 2D form. Joining forces a small London based graphic arts company using ancient lithographic presses, each individual print is hand fed, hand registered & colours are matched & mixed by hand.
