'Robodude' is made from scrap pallet wood, an oak fence post.and some odd bits and bobs found in the garage

Because of the materials used Robodude is not designed to be in perfect condition and will look better with age, especially if kept outside. Where the weather can take effect to give him, or her, a more distressed look.

As with all my work my inspiration comes from my love of surf culture.

I have made a few of these in the past for friends, and looking at my stock of reclaimed pallet wood saw I had some pieces to make another.

The bits and bobs for the face are all items from my Greeblie collection.

If you're wondering what a Greeblie is. It's a term coined by the visual effects department from Industrial Light and Magic,and describes pieces of plastic that can be used to enhance the look of special effect models. Or in my case pieces of tat that might have a use :)
