I skip dived just before Christmas 2019 as while driving towards the North Norfolk coast we past a skip full of old/used leather furniture. We asked the owners of the skip and they gave us the ok to take the furniture.(my first bag I made from the sofa, was sent to the address of the skip) I cut the leather away from the frame, cut the frame up, bagged it and gave it to our local hospice to sell as firewood. The leather was cleaned, fed and cut to a pattern, machined stitched and finished with strong leather straps

We have a lot of friends that live near and on the South Coast, and on a visit there over 25 years ago we fell apron a young girl making bags from old sails and old jeans. My recycling hat was then switched on to reusing old leather furniture
