These are made from Chestnut sauced locally to me in North Devon. I find it really nice to work with. It had a long grain pattern similar to oak. with very few knots, I find it great for plaques as it is not as heavy as oak.

Product Background;

As with most of my items i have listed it came from a personal need for a gift. I made one similar for my father for fathers day and it went down so well i thought id add it to my listing.

About me;

I work part time around my youngest 2 children. I found that i had a bit of free time when they are at school and needed to find something to fill the time. So in 2018 I decided to invest some money and add to my tool collection. I ordered myself a CNC router. this was something that i always found interesting and wanted to give it a go. At this time i have spent most of my time playing making things for friends and family and now looking to make a little bit of money from the hobby. Last Christmas I did my 1st Christmas market and will be looking to do more local markets and craft fairs.
