Made to Measure Mock Roman Blind Service by an experienced seamstress.

A mock roman blind in the fabric of your choice. A mock blind looks just like a roman blind, without all the workings and additional cost. No cords, just a window dressing. This can include extra large windows, north facing rooms, cloakrooms, en-suites or windows that are not overlooked. Quality and stitching is not compromised, all the blinds have handfinished hems and finished to a professional standard.

Mock blinds are easy to post and parcel size is kept to a minimum. I will supply the finished blind which has the loops side of the velcro stitched in place. I will send the sticky hook part of the velcro (width of the blind). This needs to be applied to a wooden baton by yourself and ideally stapled in place for extra security.

Popular fabric choices include Laura Ashley, Clarke and Clarke, Sophie Allport, Prestigious, Chess and John Lewis. The fabric choice is entirely yours. I can provide guidance on fabric selection and arrange samples to be sent to your home.

Prices start from £40 for a 1 metre wide blind.

Its a 2 week turnaround depending on fabric availability.

My skills have improved since then and after attending courses I am now in a position to sell my blinds. Handsewn hems with invisible stitching are a feature of everything I make.
