Original framed pyrography art of two baby hedgehogs.
A friend who runs a hedgehog rescue centre in Hutton, Yorkshire, asked me to take some photographs of some baby hedgehogs. I was amazed how small hoglets are - about the size of a large hens egg. Their mother had died, and some people had found these hoglets in their back garden. There was nothing wrong with these two though, aside from needing constant feeding, as I discovered when one of them tried to bite me - then it pee'd on my hand, so I decided to stick to the camera! It didn't help that my friend was crying with laughter - these two were definitely looking for "Mischief", which has become the title for this original artwork.
This artwork took me about 12 hours to finish, is dawn on plywood, framed and ready to hang on your wall. It measures aprox 310mm x 220mm.
What's not to love about cute little animals?
