These two trinket dishes have been cast in resin using rich colours. Dish A is neon green, forest green and silver, while dish B is aubergine and metallic grey with silver sparkles. Either dish would brighten up a surface whilst performing its function of tidying away and the bits and bobs of clutter, coins, pills, hairclips, jewellery, rings, whatever needs a home and doesn't presently have one. To give a trinket dish as a present would be the perfect gesture of appreciation, gratitude or love. Both dishes measure 6cms across and 2cm high. I love working with colour, and although neon green can be a challenging colour to work with, I think it works perfectly in this little green dish, mixed with the darker green and the silver. Aubergine is also an unusual colour, but again fits this dish, and the silver sparkles emphasis the richness of the purple. Making trinket dishes like this in resin gives me a chance to experiment with different colour combinations, and it's fun because until they come out of the mould, you never know what they are going to look like
