A call from the excellent Ranger of the Butterfly Meadow and Corn Mill Stream to tell me she's left me some interesting logs! And what amazing bounty I found - what I call harvest from the countryside. Pruning and gentle management of this wonderful area on my doorstep meant I could use some wonderful wild Cherry and what a beautiful grain, perfect for scoop making....
