Who doesn't love a mad march hare? This natural pheasant feather boxing hares framed art shows off these beautiful creatures competing for dominance. It will look great in any room of your home and would make a heart melting gift for those nature and animal lovers.

Each piece is created from scratch by me, I firstly cut out a silhouette using a very sharp blade - out of some lightweight hammered paper. I then wash each of the feathers to remove any dirt and germs, blow dry and then arrange in a pattern that will fit the image. It is then placed in a 23 x 23cm white frame.

Because of the handmade nature of this item and the natural elements involved, no picture will be exactly the same. It will always look as close to the image pictured as possible.

My inspiration for this piece is the time of year. The time where the Hares are looking for a mate and when they are trying to determine dominance between one another to get the girls!

I regularly see pheasants in the fields where I picture the hares playing and boxing so it seemed only right for this to be created out of the stunning pheasant feathers.
