Tree Beach pottery brooch
Description
This fragment of beach pottery from the Kent shores, smoothed by the sea, has a tree pattern. The edges are gilded in gold leaf and sealed with shellac. The brooch pin is securely attached with resin. This brooch measures 2.5cm by 2.5cm.
Inspiration
I love collecting little treasures from the Kent shores, glass, pottery and fossils all smoothed and shaped by the sea. Much of the pottery washed up was thrown from piers during times past. Little fragments of history. I reclaim these old pieces to create keepsakes from my finds.
