Popular quotation from J M Barrie's Peter Pan.Illustrated by a jubilant young woman and her equally joyous friend. We all have children, friends and loved ones who make us feel happy and glad to be alive. I chose the colours to be bright, sunny and appealing to children of all ages. The girl and her funny creature companion were hand drawn by me, scanned and enhanced, coloured and shaded on Photoshop.

Unusually, I drew the exuberant girl first. When I later found this wonderful quote from Peter Pan, I knew she illustrated the sentiment perfectly. It was a while before I created and added the funny creature to dance with her. I smile whenever I look at these happy friends and I hope you will too.
