Hi handmade end grain chopping board made from Maple and Paduak.

The board has been made in our small workshop in Leicestershire, England. Using foodsafe glue the board pattern has been created by cutting and arranging the prices to create a unique board. The board has been finished with many coats of foodsafe oil and finally board butter

Being end grain makes it ideal for use as a chopping board.

Both sides can be use or alternatively use one side for chopping and the other for serving.

Approx sizes 27cm x 25cm x 3cm

To maintain simply wipe clean with warm soapy water and dry immediately. Allow to air in an upright position. Never submerge in water or use in the dishwasher. Top up finish as required.

When my local wood yard had a small quantity of the exotic wood Paduak as a beautiful wood I ve not worked with before I wanted to make a chaos or chequered board. Maple is a very hard wearing and ideal for end grain chopping boards. I thought the colour combination would work well and I'm really pleased how it turn out.
