This is slightly odd piece - from one side it is a tree of silver specs representing leaves and from the other side, as I fused glass powders on both sides - it looks more like a green tree. A successful experiment! It does mean that this would work pretty much anywhere as it can be viewed from any angle. It is a 20cm circle of thick bullseye glass set in an artisan metal frame.

I was taken by a picture of a tree with sparkles for leaves - and I thought "silver flakes" - so I gave this a go, this is the end result. I am inspired to attempt a pink cherry blossom version as I now know that I can fused both sides of a piece of glass for a complex, featureful outcome!
