Here is my vintage style old newspaper art print. I was inspired by vintage art and Japanese crane art. I wanted to create a simple, vintage art print. I love simple, modern, minimalist art pieces and I have tried to achieve a simple yet striking effect.

This would look awesome as craft room decor, office decor, living room and bedroom decor. The newspaper background has been softened and made indistinct due to copyright reasons in addition to the desire to make the foreground painting stand out.

This print has been printed on 140 gsm paper with a matte finish using quality inks, in the UK.
The print is currently available in one size A4.

With the original painting, I wanted to achieve a watercolour rainbow effect, the cranes were sketched using ink pens onto watercolour paper and painted in a relaxed, watercolour paint splash style. The painting was then digitised and layered on top of the newspaper print, giving the image a vintage, gothic characteristic to it. I am a fan of origami and love the simplicity of paper crane art and origami art where the lines are crisp and clean and I wanted to create a Japanese style origami art print that is character
