Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop!
I've been making for others since 2013 and am in the process of opening up my shop here. If you'd like to see what my customers have said about my work, you can read more than 1,000 reviews on my web site: http://www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk/ (click 'Reviews' on the bar at the top of the page).
In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to Europe, the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline.
I'm more active on Instagram than anywhere else: https://www.instagram.com/the_crimson_rabbit/ but you can always find me online elsewhere: my blog is here: www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk, my facebook page here: www.facebook.com/thecrimsonrabbitpage and my Pinterest addiction is evidenced here: http://www.pinterest.com/crimsonrabbit/

This is a larger sized frame purse that will happily carry your cards, cash, a key, lip balm - it is surprisingly capacious!
I've made the purse by partnering a chocolate brown Harris Tweed, with a lovely Liberty tana lawn print called 'Little Marquess', which is based on a 1970s archival Liberty scarf design and was a instant classic, reproduced in several different versions over the years. When you look closely at the tweed, you can see that tiny blue and golden orange threads have been woven into the twill, which matches beautifully with the shades of the Liberty print lining.
I've added woven cotton interfacing to the tweed and the tana lawn to strengthen them, and I've added some soft fleece to the tweed that gives a puffy effect that feels nice in your hand.
The metal frame of the purse is a pale bronze colour and I've hand stitched it into place using a perle cotton in a rich gold. The purse frame has 'eyes' on the side so that you could attach a chain or wrist strap to, if you wished.
Please see the final photograph for the dimensions of the purse and an idea of the scale with some standard sized cards, notes and coins next to the purse.
Please note that I'm not able to make a wristlet strap for this purse.
