A Drawing plus A Keepsake equals An Adrawable

This is a Made To Order item using your drawing.

Using glass fusing techniques, I create beautifully glossy and super stylish keepsakes of your drawings.

A fabulous and truly unique lifetime gift for a parent, partner, grandparents, aunts/uncles, god parents, teachers, baby sitters, nannies, or anyone who has a special connection with your child!! They also make a superb, one of a kind 18th, 21st (or any age!) birthday gift for the now adult artist.

Other display options are available, so please feel free to send me your drawing so I can reply with some options for you to choose from. Examples are sun catchers, hanging plaques, box framing, hand made lead framing, wall hanging clock face, wind chime, tea light holders.

If you have a particular idea in mind, I will accommodate your ideas as best I can, so please do get in touch.

Each Adrawable is handmade and fired by me, from my little cabin in Guildford, Surrey.

Sizes will vary slightly depending on the drawing, however most are between 15-20cm in height and 15-20cm in width.

I created the word Adrawables because, as you've probably guessed, it's a fun mix of two words that are used in connection with my makes - 'adorable' and 'drawing'.

When my niece and nephews were little ones, I was making softie Adrawabls and still do (also available here in my Folksy shop).
However, I also wanted to offer Adrawables that were suitable for keeping the drawing alive in a home in other ways - so when I inherited my Mums old pottery kiln (she used to make porcelain dolls), I decided to use glass fusing techniques to find ways of recreating drawings.
So was born the Glass Adrawable!

It can be quite challenging to recreate a drawing but it's always rewarding (and certainly nerve-racking!!) when I open the door of the kiln the next morning to reveal the finished piece.

Thanks for taking an interest in my work and I look forward to creating something special for you.
