This decorative doll is made from wooden beads, with a fabric body, she is wearing a handsewn dress, made from a beautiful remnant of fabric with a woodland scene. I have edged her skirt with vintage lace and sewn pretty charms onto her dress which are all woodland insipired. She has vintage buttons for shoes and an acorn cap for a hat!

This little doll sits at approximately 15cms high. She would make a lovely Mothers Day gift.

My inspiration for making this handmade doll was taken from our regular walks in our local Woodlands in West Sussex.

During the Autumn/Winter months I was inspired by the change of seasons and the colours, I found this lovely piece of woodland printed fabric which was left over from a project we had at home (a reupholstered footstall).

I have a tin full of jewellery findings which I spent ages looking through to find the right charms to add detail to her handsewn dress.

Her acorn cap hat was foraged during one of our many woodland walks.
