Silver Cuff Bangle by Midastouch Jewels in North Wales
Striking silver cuff set with a purple gold-stone depicting the profile of the Denbigh Moors, in North Wales. The cuff is a sturdy 1.25 mm thick with a mountain profile added to the surface and a settingrising sun with the rocks of the mountains, in a hammered design. It can be worn to remember a special place, holiday or person.
The first of these bangles was a memorial bangle depicting the setting sun the profile of the mountains from the village where he lived and a stone at the position where his ashes were scattered.

Sleeping Beauty is the local name for Conwy Mountain which looks down onto my house. This bangle came out of a commission to make a memorial bangle ... wide bangle, profile of mountains about the village where the customer's father had lived, semiprecious stone to mark where his ashes were scattered, sky line showing setting sun and the back was etched with a poem written by the customer, in Welsh (that was a challenge for me too!)
This has led to a few of these bangles over the years, each telling their own story.
