Silver Conwy Mussel Shell
Made from a real shell picked up on Conwy Morfa Beach, in North Wales. Mature mussel shells are usually covered in barnacles, like this one, giving character to each piece. The shell is made from silver clay in fine silver (999). Using liver of sulphur the centres of the barnacles have been coloured black to give greater contrast to the high sheen finish on the shell.
The Bail for the shell is hidden so that the shell appears to float on the chain. Fitted with an 18" sterling silver chain.
Ideal for those who love nature and the sea.
Pendant measures approx 10cm x 5cm and has a good weight of silver. Each shell is made to order and may vary from the picture shown as they are all individual.
Hallmarked with the Birmingham Anchor, Date and MidasTouch Jewels (PAT) marks.
Designed and made by Patsy Tyldesley and nature.

Made in Wales
Living close to the World Heritage site in Conwy the mussels produced are some of the best mussels in the world. The older mussels can be found on Conwy beaches covered in barnacles that give them a really interesting texture. These are taken from real mussels and are quite larger. Younger smoother myssels are also available.
