An illustration of a Hare with some patterned eggs.

This is an A4 print of an original hand drawn illustration and I will print each to order.
Printed on 120g/m professional print quality paper using a laser printer to prevent any smudging of the printer ink. I have found this paper will hold most forms of colour including watercolour if used with very minimal water. Personally I like to use coloured pencils or felt tips pens.

Free P& P in the UK. (2nd Class)
Posted in a flat hard backed envelope or supported with card.

I found a sweet little folklore story for the Easter / Spring Festival time of year.

In Saxon folklore the goddess Eostre found a dying bird in winter, the only way she was able to save the little bird was by turning it into a hare, the transformation didn't work completely and even though the bird looked like a hare it was still able to lay eggs. In thanks for saving it, every year in spring the hare decorated its eggs and left them for Eostre to find.

This colouring page is my interpretation of this little story.
