Superb Quality English Leather, traditionally used for making bridles, and harness is used here to make this hand crafted Leather leash.

Handmade as traditional English saddlery, with a single crease, edged and then finished using natural dyes along the edge, paired with a solid brass fitting, this makes this leash a quality and long lasting essential.

The leather is cut to 1" wide, a generous hand loop is sewn using traditional saddle stitch at one end, with the trigger clip sewn at the other end of one continuous leather strip

The leash measures between 45" and 47" long, and the dimensions of the trigger clip are 2.5" (6.5 cm) long and 1" (3 cm) wide.

This leash can be made in a range of other colours, widths, and lengths as well as different fittings, so if you need something custom made just let us know.

I love to work with natural materials, and through my work as a saddler have used bridle leather for lots of projects, and customer orders. I have not found a material that compares for quality, strength and finish.

The leash is strong, and has a tactile quality that seems to just get better with use.

Teaming the leather with the classic equestrian fittings, makes this a favourite leash for many happy walks, over many happy hours.
