Item details

This acrylic painting with fine pen handwriting is done on a natural wood slice. Each wood slice has natural knots and rings making it quite unique and beautiful. This slice is approx.
9" x 3" or 23cm x 8cm and has a short string hanger and intact bark around the edges.
The painting is of a flamingo standing in a natural pose with one leg bent forward and they can often be observed like this The bumblebee hovers above her head, perhaps giving advice or just observing. The inspiring words are handwritten to the right hand side in fine pen.
The design is my original work and there will only be one of these
This would make a great gift for any flamingo lover or someone who could do with some support to succeed.
This painting can only be shipped to countries with no restrictions on wood.

Becase I love flamingos and have my shop caled The Eclectic Flamingos my mind turned to painting them . I also adore bumblebees and raise money for conservation efforts by donating part of my sales to the BumblebeeTrust. We really need those insects and they are so fascinating! It seemed a natural step to combine them and whilst I was working the inspirational words came to me.
