Earrings with small, rare antique millefiori trade beads

Love this

Trade beads were shipped out to Africa from Venice between the late 1880s and the early 1920s and used as currency. The two featured in these earrings are unusually small and delicate.

They have been matched with delicate glass beads made in Ghana from recycled bottles as well as other small beads. Trade beads usually bear the scars of their well travelled lived in the form of small chips, but these two are in excellent condition. They are called 'millefiori' beads which means 'a thousand flowers'.

When you buy a piece from the Curious Bead Company, you are buying something quite unique, which will be a conversation piece bringing pleasure for many years to come.

They will be sent in a gift box and UK postage is free.
Please take a look at my other unique pieces of African beaded jewellery.

These are some of the most delicate trade beads I've ever seen and in perfect condition, which is rare. Earrings are an ideal way to show off these pretty little beads.
