Item details

A colourful vintage Liberty print, its bold design so typical of the 1980’s when this piece was printed. Perfect for carrying small amounts of makeup, or as a coin purse. It also makes a good floating pocket, to catch all those bits and bats that float around inside your tote bag. It would make a great present for a budding artist or creative with its wonderful hand drawn design, or as a rather lovely Christmas present for Mum.

The fabric has first been backed onto cotton to give it some strength, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 16cm wide, and 12 cm long.
The lining is made from bright turquoise fabric, and there is a bright blue zip opening measuring 16 cm.
At the top is a hook for twirling around your finger, or for hanging up as a little artwork in its own right.
The purse is finished with my own embroidered name tag, and is machine washable on a short cool cycle.

I like to reuse as much as possible. Your purse will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging, and posted out as Royal Mail second class.

I remember making myself a crop top from this very same design in the 1980’s! You can imagine how pleased I was to find a piece of it again recently in a charity shop near York. Storage, headphone detangler, holiday money, or for catching the flotsam and jetson inside your handbag, these little purses are useful all rounders.
