This handmade book is a bumper version with extra pages, for the gatherer, note taker, recipe keeper and much more. It is made using traditional methods and quarter bound with a hard cover.

The pages are 120gsm blank paper, each page is hand folded and stitched using traditional Irish linen thread, the spine is reinforced to strengthen it. It has endbands and a book mark.

The cover is made using 2mm bookbinding board covered with hand made Himalayan paper in black and grey. It feels very tactile due to the print material of the cover paper. The spine is Quarter bound and uses light grey bookbinding cloth. Inside, the end papers are a luscious red surprise when you open the book, and has a red bookmark ribbon.

There are 256 pages!

Size 157mm width, 194mm height, 25mm thickness.

I love the hand made paper used on the cover, it has a very tactile feel as it was screen printed onto black Himalayan paper with a soft grey screen ink.
