Prior to studying Land Agency/Chartered Surveying at Cirencester Agricultural College, my husband, Peter Thwaites spent a year working on a mixed farm south of Truro. Daffodils were one of the crops and one of Peter's first tasks on early spring mornings was to go and collect groups of pickers from nearby villages.
He painted the scene to remind himself of a very varied and interesting year. The original is an acrylic painting on canvas measuring about 32" x 24" and hangs in our sitting room.
We have now made canvas prints mounted on wooden backing frames which are offered here. They measure approx. 18" x 14" and are 3/4" deep.
These images are printed to the size of the front panel with the four sides of the mounted canvas left white. They can be hung like this or you can put them in a frame if you prefer. They come with a cord fixed at the back for hanging.
Prints can also been produced on digital watercolour paper in various sizes.
