The base is in English Cherry with a dark streaky grain (very unusual) attached to the base is the stick which is Wenge a wood that is close to black in colour from this is the dial surround this is Rippled Ash with a green and black natural streak from the centre of the tree. This clock as it name indicates is based on an idea I had one day to build a clock that looked like a lollypop. This is supposed to be a fun clock and the one that inspired me to build further crazy ideas using quartz movements. Our modern day lives are a rush and we need something to remind us not to rush but enjoy our time. This clock is one of those things where we can enjoy the different colours and grain textures, when time allows us to grab some downtime.
The Clock movement is 100mm diameter skeleton quartz in silver made in china with roman numerals and black hands.
Size 340mm high x 185mm Long base and 95mm deep approximately.
It weighs 1.1kg (2lbs 7oz). AA Battery required.
This clock is made from organic, natural, solid wood and will distort if put near a heat source such as a radiator, it will also discolour if left in direct sunlight. The item you see here is the one you will receive and I have aimed to provide dimensions which are as accurate as possible. Please note that wood is a natural product and can be affected by its environment.

Lolliclox was the start of this range of individual design and build clocks. These clocks are all different and reflect the individual tastes and needs for something different in life when we all seek something out of the norm. So Lolliclox is my first clock and so important to me because it gave me my first crazy clock design, I hope people enjoy this and the others in this range of one off clocks and wooden wonders. Fun and function rarely mix but I hope these meet the mark?

This original clock has spawned different ideas and influences in this range of clocks made with different woods, fixings and materials.
As technology changes and the requirement for a house clock disappears these clocks are a statement, a visual icon of the natural world using different timbers and fixings to remind us of the outside world.
