Item details

Colourful fun and quirky pendant (or hanging ornament).
Heart shaped made with three layers fused together. A dark turquoise base, a golden central piece, topped with a bubbly greenish layer. Made from recycled polycarbonate and aluminium CD and silver plated findings. The process used to fuse the plastic results in a bubbly glass like effect which catches the light beautifully.
Approx 50x40mm. Chain not included.

Trying out different shapes was fun. The heart is a common shape for jewellery, but getting the right proportions was tricky. I also wanted to make it a bit different, so I layered three colours together. It's a bit big and brash, but hang it in the window if you have nothing to wear it with!
