Welcome to HRNicholsonart

My name is Helen and all the artworks on this site are my own original creations. I am in the process of uploading artwork so there is a lot more to come other that what you can see at the moment.
I love using all kinds of media, acrylic, oil, watercolour, pastels, fine point pen and charcoal are my main go to. Please enjoy having a browse around my shop and keep an eye out for more artworks to come.

As with a lot of my artwork it is usually while I am asleep or drawing/painting to music that ideas come to me. The image of a large apple sitting next to a tree came to me while I was sleeping and as soon as I woke up I felt the need to draw it in pen and colour it using my Inktense blocks. I think it will look fabulous in the right frame. I am keeping the original for the time being and selling prints of it.
