Item details
The beads are created by forming a cylinder with melted transparent dark green glass, this is then rolled in sodium bicarbonate (sometimes called baking powder). The cylinder is then encased in lime green glass; bubbles of carbon dioxide appear in the glass as if by magic. The bubbles take on the colour of the base glass which catch the light beautifully. Hold them up in sunlight and you will be astonished how the light shines through these beads.
